POONCH, July 24: The road connectivity to at least four villages was snapped after a massive land slide in Mendhar sub division of district Mendhar this morning.
Official sources said that Mendhar-Bhera-Pathana Teer Road was blocked after a massive land slide this morning. There was heavy rain in the area during early hours today and the land slides near Bhera blocked the road. The road link to Bhera, Tappa, Salwa, Upper Gursai, Pathana Teer etc has been snapped.
The SDM Mendhar Dr Tanveer Ahmed also visited the area and directed the R&B authorities to press the men & machines and clear the road as early as possible. He however, said that since massive land slide has taken place it may take a couple of days to clear the road.
