JAMMU, July 24: Bagh-e-Bahu police rescued an old man trapped in swollen river Tawi, here.
As per police sources, a person identified as Kalu (75), son of Ahmedu, a resident of Dawara near Har Ki Poudi temple got trapped in river Tawi due to sudden rise of water level.
After getting information, a team from Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station led by SHO Inspector Satish Kumar rushed to the spot and rescued the man.
The man has been handed over to legal heirs.
