Notorious bootlegger lands in police net

JAMMU, Oct 3: A notorious bootlegger landed in the net of Domana police along with 53 pouches of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Domana police station raised a naka and arrested a notorious bootlegger along with 53 pouches of illicit liquor.
The accused has been identified as Pawan Singh, son of Kashmir Singh, a resident of Machine Domana.
The accused used to sell the illicit liquor pouches among the people on exorbitant rates. He was doing this illegal trade for the past sometime.
A case under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Domana police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Domana police station Inspector Rajinder Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Surinder Sharma, SP Rural Rajeev Pandey and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
