Notice to Bar President a new low to crush voice against injustice: AAP

JAMMU, Sept 3: Aam Aadmi Party has alleged that J&K Lieutenant Governor administration and Bhartiya Janata Party are now on revengeful mode against those who raise voice against injustice and demolition notice served to Jammu Bar Association President is a new low in the history of Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a press conference, here today, AAP leader Namrata Sharma said that the ongoing agitation of lawyers under the banner of Jammu Bar Association is based on genuine demands that include establishment of a building housing all allied tribunals and institutions in Jammu.
“What is wrong as lawyers are demanding a smart court complex in Jammu smart city?” Namrata Sharma asked adding that entire society of Jammu is supporting this agitation and successful bandh call of Monday was an example of it.
With regard to a notice served by Jammu Municipal Corporation to the Bar Association President, Namrata Sharma said that this is a new low in the history of Jammu and shows that BJP and LG administration are now at new low in their revengeful attitude against whosoever raises voice against injustice and misgovernance being committed by Government setup.
AAP leader further added that Yuva Rajput Sabha is also on protest but instead of listening to them, LG Administration tried to crush their protest by imposition of 144 CrPC restrictions which shows high-handedness.
“Government in J&K is presently headed by Lieutenant Governor who instead of doing anything to listen the agitated people is trying to pressurise the agitators to end their genuine agitation which is an unfortunate part,” Namrata Sharma said.
