JAMMU, Apr 15: On the solemn occasion of Siachen Day, Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander Northern Command, along with all ranks of Northern Command, paid heartfelt tribute to the soldiers, guarding the treacherous heights of the Siachen Glacier.
Acknowledging the extraordinary dedication of the troops deployed in one of the most inhospitable terrains in the world, the Army Commander lauded their resilience and steadfastness in safeguarding the nation’s frontiers under extreme weather and operational challenges.
On this occasion, homage was also paid to the valiant soldiers, who made the supreme sacrifice while serving on the world’s highest battlefield.
