JAMMU, Apr 22: In view of closing of Durbar move offices in Jammu on April 24 and 25, it has been decided to permit only up convoys (from Jammu to Srinagar) for two days viz April 25 and 26, 2015.
No down convoy (from Srinagar to Jammu) will be permitted on the these dates. Army and paramilitary forces convoys will also not be allowed to ply from Srinagar to Jammu on there dates.
Similarly, it has been decided to permit up convoys (from Jammu to Srinagar) on May3 and 4, to facilitate the smooth movement of vehicles carrying Durbar move employees from Jammu to Srinagar as the offices are opening at Srinagar on May 5, 2015. No down traffic from Srinagar to Jammu including the convoys of Army/Para-Military forces will be permitted to ply on these dates, under any circumstances.
Traffic Police has made elaborate arrangements for smooth movement of convoys consisting of Durbar move vehicles carrying important records and other related items etc.
