The joining ceremony took place in presence of Chief Party Patron and founder Sanjay Kumar, Party President Shiekh Muzaffar, Ashiq Hussain, Gh Nabi Shiekh, Tariq Ahmad Rather, Ajaz Ahmad, Sahid Hussain Bhat, and other office bearers.
While addressing the gathering, the Party President Sheikh Muzaffar reiterated that the JKNPF will work for ensuring violence-free, corruption-free, drug-free J&K.
He said that dynasty politics has no role and scope nowadays while people on the ground want a change, and a strong voice to represent and work for them.
“There is no space for injustice, violence, drug addiction and corruption. Alterations of any kind, disrespect and dishonour of youth will be dealt with iron hands and those who misled people, looted the state will be brought to book,” he said.
Welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, the Party President said that the doors of the Party are open to those who want to serve the people selflessly.
He said that JKNPF is not a family-based party, but a socially responsible, common man’s political platform.
“Anyone can join the party and with the same vision and lead the party to achieve its people-centric goals,” he said adding there is no room for disparity or favouritism in JKNPF.
He also impressed upon the participants, particularly the new entrants to work sincerely for the public welfare and take the message of the party to every individual in their respective localities.
Thanking the party leadership, the new entrants said that the party reflects the aspirations of the people on the ground and is the sole viable political option for the masses of J&K who desire peace, prosperity, development, sustainability and progress.
“We have started the campaign in a mission mode in the interest of the general public with a triangular thought, addiction-free, Corruption free and violence free Jammu Kashmir,” JKNPF President said.
The new entrants on the occasion vowed to strengthen the party cadres at the grassroots.
The Party President said that the party initially had thought of grass root level leaders coming together to share a common vision at the convention, “but people thronged in large numbers at the venue and turned the convention into a public rally,” he said.
On the occasion, Sheikh Muzzafar impressed on the vision of the party, which he said is: transparency, good governance, justice, fast track disposal of work in government offices, efficient and effective policymaking plans for education, health and other sectors.
He said that if JKNPF is voted to power people will feel safe, retain respect, identity and honour.
“Support us for this noble cause; we will make sure that justice is done to everyone, be it the casual labourers, Anganwadi workers; institutional honour and respect will be restored and let us dream together, move together for better today and best tomorrow,” he said.
