NMC urges CM to take up 7th PC issue with PM

JAMMU, June 28: National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) today appealed Chief Minister to take up the issue of implementation of recommendations of 7th Pay Commission (PC) by arranging provision of proper budget and other financial grants, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
As the announcement regarding the implementation of recommendations of 7th Pay Commission is any time, due, NMC president, Subhash Shastri, urged Mehbooba Mufti to vigorously take up the issue of funding with Centre, so that the J&K becomes the first State in the country to provide benefits of revised salary/pension to its employees and pensioners, along with Central Government employees and pensioners, he said.
While addressing a well attended meeting of NMC activists here, Shastri hoped that the benefits of 7th Pay Commission, this time  will available without much struggle as has been the norm with previous Governments.
