NEW DELHI, Apr 3: NIIT Ltd today said it has appointed Rahul K Patwardhan as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company from April 1, 2015. ”The Board of Directors of the company in their meeting held on October 6, 2014 had decided to appoint Mr Rahul K Patwardhan as CEO wef April 1, 2015,” company said in a statement. During the meeting held on March 26, 2015, the board decided that Mr Rahul would take charge as the CEO of the company on the day after the board meeting in which the annual financial results of the company for the previous year, 2014-2015 would be announced, it said. At present, this board meeting is scheduled to be held on May 27, 2015, it said. In addition to being the Vice Chairman & Managing Director from April 1, 2015, Vijay Thadani will continue to be the CEO of the company till the date of board meeting, it said. (UNI)
