JAMMU, Mar 14: NHPC organized a grand Hindi Kavi Sammelan at its Corporate Office, Faridabad today.
RP Goyal (CMD, NHPC) inaugurated the Kavi Sammelan by lighting the traditional lamp. Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel), NHPC, RK Chaudhary, Director (Technical & Projects), NHPC and other senior officers and employees were present on the occasion. Gayatri Goyal and other members of Ladies Welfare Association were also present during the Kavi Sammelan.
Speaking on the occasion, RP Goyal said that NHPC employees come from various backgrounds and speak different languages and Hindi plays the crucial role of uniting everyone towards a common goal. He also said the Kavi Sammelan has been organized to welcome the joyous and fun-filled festival of Holi.
During the Kavi Sammelan, renowned poets including Pratap Faujdaar, Anamika Amber, Praveen Shukla, Deepak Gupta, Mumtaz Naseem, Gaurav Chauhan and Rajesh Aggarwal enthralled the audience with various poetic recitals based on different poetic ‘rasas’ and also dealing with patriotic and social issues.
