NHPC conducts awareness programme on Alzheimer

JAMMU, Mar 15: Under its Corporate Social Responsibility Programme, NHPC Limited Salal Power Station conducted a social innovation activity on Old Age Health Problem of Alzheimer Disease.
During the three-day programme,  needs of aging population of district  Reasi, were identified and assessed, particularly in context of Alzheimer, which  is most common form of dementia, a general term of memory loss and other intellectual abilities.
Different groups consisting of Gram Panchayat members, social activists, medical staff, union representatives, teachers, CISF Jawan, patients and   family members of the patient attended this programme.
AG Ansari, General Manager, who was chief guest of the concluding session,   said that the programme would help the affected people and shall play significant role in strengthening the social fabric of the Society as well.
The Founder Director of The Kamkus Clinic, Harley Street, London (UK), Dr Diwakar Sukul was the faculty of this programme.
