JAMMU, Feb 11: A delegation of J&K Central Non Gazetted Electrical Employees’ Association (NGEEA) met Development Commissioner Power (DCP) at Janipur today and discussed some burning issues being faced by the employees of PDD/PDC.
The delegation took up issues like implementation of SRO 59 and settlement of pension cases, implementation of recent Supreme Court decision on Meter Readers to all eligible employees, implementation of SRO 149 to provide technical grades, convening of DOCs at all level to fill existing vacancies, regularization of daily wagers as per SRO 381 and amendment of recruitment rules with the Development Commissioner.
The Development Commissioner listened to the delegation patiently and that genuine issues will be resolved soon. The delegation was comprised of Gurmeet Singh, Surinder Kumar, Durinder Sharma, Vijay Kumar, Darshan Kumar and others.
