Srinagar, Aug 10 : Directorate of School Education Kashmir today announced change in school timings across educational institutions in the Valley.

The timing for schools falling within Srinagar Municipal limits will be from 9 am to 3 pm while the educational institutes falling outside Municipal limits of Srinagar District and other areas of Kashmir province shall remain open between 10 am to 4 pm.
The freshly announced timings, as per the order, have a bearing on both Government and recognised private schools in the Kashmir division, with effect from August 12.
The DSEK had on July 23, announced change in the class timings from 8 am to 1 pm in both rural and urban areas of Kashmir region, due to hot weather conditions.
