SAMBA, July 16: The new office bearers for the recently elected District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (DPGC), Samba were announced in presence of Dy Commissioner Sheetal Nanda here today.
The procedure was followed as per the provisions of the J&K State Gurdwara Religious Endowment Act 1973 and the rules made there under. Kulvinder Singh was elected as president, Mittar Pal Singh as vice president, Jarnail Singh as general secretary, Bishan Singh as joint secretary, Manmohan Singh as cashier, Karnail Singh as advisor and Narinjan Singh as executive member.
The newly elected office bearers assured the Sikh community members to act as their Sewadars under the patronage of Mahant Manjit Singh of Dera Nangali Sahib.
