JAMMU, July 3: The newly elected body of Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industries (JCCI) led by its President Rakesh Gupta this evening called on Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah here and discussed matters relating to the development of trade, commerce and industry with him.
The Legislator and Provincial President National Conference, Jammu, Devender Singh Rana was also present in the meeting.
The new body also discussed issues relating to the cross LoC trade and those pertaining to the welfare of trading community. The JCCI while expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister for his efforts and keen interest in the development of trade, commerce and industry in the State sought his continuous support for the upliftment of trading and industrial community as also the industrial sector.
The other members of the delegation included Senior Vice President JCCI, Sham Lal Langer, Junior Vice President Deepak Aggarwal, Secretary General Arun Gupta, Secretary, Rahul Mahajan and Treasurer Ashu Gupta.
