Looking to the highly cash stripped State economy, it is very important to at least cut down on the cost of administration. The lavish spending on vehicles, residential houses, furnishing and furniture of the Ministers and Government officers must be cut down to the minimum. The fleet of petrol driven cars to Ministers needs to be reviewed only on need based requirement. It should be the first priority of the Government to adopt measures by which the Ministers and other high ranking officers look to be as simple as they otherwise preach in sermons and speeches. In the election time it is all the more necessary in the interests of the politicians and the ruling coalition in the State.
