JAMMU, May 2: Nami Dogri Sanstha (NDS) organised a ‘Kavi Goshthi’ here at Sewa Bharti.
The event was presided over by KL Deewana.
Urdu Poet, Maharaj Krishan read two Dogri poems and Sham Parkash Samnotra sung his own song in his melodious voice.
Others who read their poems were Randhir Singh Raipuria, Ritvick Rohan Kaila, Krishan Lal Mast, Ashok Sharma, Yash Pal ‘Yash’, Shambu Ram Pyasa and Dogra Harish Kaila.
MS Kamra read Punjabi Kahani “Anni Nagri Te Chopat Raja” while KL Deewana read a Dogri Kahani “Veerta Da Parman”.
KL Deewana in his presidential address said that Nami Dogri Sanstha is doing yeoman service for the development of Dogri language and literature.
Yash Pal Yash compered the programme while Ashok Sharma presented vote of thanks.
