JAMMU, Apr 25: Stating that private companies at the helm of affairs of JDA are charging very high rates for joy rides for children at Maharaja Hari Singh (MHS) Park, National Democratic Party Indian (NDPI) said that this illegal practice should stop immediately.
“Government has opened a park at banks of river Tawi on Maharaja Hari Singh’s name but it is very unfortunate that some Government agencies like JDA are minting money through private companies by giving them illegal permissions to run the joy rides for children. It is against the law but no JDA official stop that illegal practice,” State president of NDPI Rajesh Gupta said and urged Governor Satya Pal Malik to intervene into matter.
He demanded that this illegal practice should stop immediately and rides should be free of cost. “We will not allow any agency to misuse the name of our Maharaja for minting money,” Gupta said. He was speaking at party headquarters on the eve of 58th death anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh. He along with other party leaders paid tributes to Maharaja.
