NCP reshuffles State committee

JAMMU, May 7:  An extraordinary meeting of  senior office bearers of State NCP under the chairmanship of former Minister Thakur Randhir Singh NCP State president was held in which some major decisions were taken to strengthen the  State NCP and its various cells.
While addressing the meeting Singh said that new office bearers are being appointed and they have to coordinate their activities with the rank and file so that NCP could fight the coming election of the State Assembly with full strength.
The party decided to start the party membership campaign which is to be completed by the end of June. All the office bearers have to enroll atleast 5000 members to continue as office bearer in the party.
In consultation with State office bearers who were present and also with the NCP high command a few appointments were made with immediate effect.
Tarsem Singh Manhas chief organiser, NCP  has been appointed provincial president, Jammu Province, Sandeep Manhas has been appointed general secretary of the State unit, Gourav Kapoor, State NYC president was appointed spokesman of State NCP.
RC Bali, has been appointed chairman State NCP Sewa Dal.
Other who attended the meeting included  Kamal Gupta, Satpal Sharma, Gourav Kapoor, Tarsem Singh, Dev Raj Sharma, R C Bali, Sandeep  Manhas, Tariq Nar and Ashok Singh.
