JAMMU, Aug 20: Former Minister and President, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Randhir Singh constituted a team to save the environment.
The team will be headed by NCP President, Jammu Province. Other members are Krishan Kumar Digra, Amit Datta, Vikram Mahajan, Dr Liaquat Ali Magray, Javed F Rehman, RS Billowria, Sandeep Manhas, RC Bali and Jarnail Khokhar.
The team discussed and proposed to approach NGT Chairperson Swantanter Kumar.
Singh added that National Green Tribunal (NGT) has been asking the States and the Central Government to submit their views on various issues related to vehicular emission since long. The bench is likely to pronounce the final orders shortly.
