JAMMU, May 17: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU-S) has alleged that National Conference has not learnt any lesson from the past misdeeds and still continued its hidden agenda of robbing the OBCs of their rights in J&K.
A spokesman of the AIBCU said that the statement made by Dr Farooq Abdullah recently in Surankote is very shameful in which he talked about 1 % reservation for OBCs and 4 % for Paharis.
He said NC Government during the special status of J&K state only robbed the OBCs of their rights and never implemented apex court’s judgement of 1992 on Mandal report. Now after the abrogation of Article 370 NC is again befooling the OBCs.
“What for the people of JK-UT will remain united for NC which has continuously looted the poor people of J&K on the name of Art 370. NC has disobeyed the Supreme Court judgement and snatched the Constitutional rights of the J&K people.
The Union leaders under the chairmanship of its president Abdul Majid Malik during a meeting termed the statement of Dr Farooq Abdulla as mind set of NC against the OBCs and that too after the abrogation of Art 370 in which BJP has sealed the constitutional rights making conditional in respective to Reservation Act of 2004 in the Abrogation Bill of Art 370 there by exposing the strong mutual understanding of Gupkar Group and the Gapkar Group(BJP).
