NC pays tributes to Sheikh Abdullah

SRINAGAR, Sept 7: National Conference paid glowing tributes to Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad on his 34th death anniversary which will be observed across the State on Thursday.
On the occasion congregational `Fateha Khwaani’ will be offered at `Qaid Mazaar’, Naseem Bagh, Srinagar early morning.
National Conference president,  Dr Farooq Abdullah, party working president Omar Abdullah, general secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar,  additional general secretary Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamal,  Provincial president for Kashmir Nasir Aslam Wani, Provincial president Jammu,  Devender Singh Rana, senior Party leaders, former ministers, Legislators and Party functionaries paid floral tributes to Sher-e-Kashmir.
A large number of  prominent citizens and social activists highlighted various facets of the life of  Sheikh Mohd Abdullah,  who dedicated his entire life for political awakening and transformation of Jammu and Kashmir as a vibrant, progressive and democratic State.
Meanwhile, commemorative functions to observe the death anniversary will be held in other regions of the state including Jammu and Ladakh as well.
