NC Minority Cell appeals migrants to get enrolled as voters

JAMMU, Dec 28: A meeting of National Conference (NC) Minority Cell, was held under the chairmanship of Vijay Bakaya, MLC in which various issues pertaining to forthcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections besides the measures to strengthen the party at grass root level were discussed.
The party also constituted an Election Committee of the Minority Cell which will be headed by Mohan Lal Raina while S N Dhar, Karan Choudhary, P L Talashi, Ved Lal, Pinky Bhat, B J Bhat and R N Fotedar will be constituent member.
The Committee will meet the concerned authorities to update the voter list of the community and ensure that maximum number of migrants should get registered as voters and in this regard they will be assisted by the Election Committee.
The party also nominated Mr Goja as incharge election for Lok Sabha for Anantnag, Srinagar & Baramulla.
The Election Committee, will ensure that the maximum number of migrants will cast their votes in favour of party candidates.
Addressing the meeting, M K Yogi appealed the migrants to ensure that their names be registered as voters. Mr Yogi urged Mr Bakaya to take up the issue regarding releasing of ration to migrants with the Director CAPD and Relief Commissioner.
