* Create facilities for tourists on Mughal Road: Bukhari

JAMMU, June 18: National Conference’s District president, Rural for Rajouri district along with dozens of his supporters today joined Apni Party.
The joining programme was organized by Apni Party vice president Ch Zulfikar Ali at the Gandhi Nagar office of the Party.
Party president Altaf Bukhari welcomed the National Conference leaders led by District president Bushan Uppal into the Party fold.
While welcoming them into the Party, Bukhari hoped that the roots of the Party would be strengthened in the hilly district with the joining of senior leaders from the National Conference.
Prominent among those who joined included Sahib Singh, Abdul Hameed, Raj Kumar, Rajeev Sharma, Dev Raj, Manohar Lal, Suram Chand, Rattan Lal, Pawan Kumar, Mast Ram, Dwarka Nath, Yash Paul, Ramesh Lal, Baldev Raj, Subash Chander, Vikas Uppal and Muneer Hussain.
Bukhari said that the Party’s policies are being widely accepted by the people from all the regions without any bias. “We work for the people of all the regions without any kind of discrimination. J&K has suffered from the last seven decades at the hands of the traditional political parties as the divisive politics gained ground with no development in the remote places,” he said.
He said that J&K’s has potential in tourism in Rajouri and Poonch yet the Tourism Department has failed to explore the unexplored areas. Mughal Road was the main attraction for the tourists not only from J&K but from outside but the facilities which should have been provided by the Govt lack any vision. This road must be promoted on the world map of tourism as it has picturesque views and lofty mountains and Mughal Sarai.
Senior leaders who were present on the occasion include senior vice president, Ghulam Hassan Mir, Chairman Parliamentary Board, Dilawar Mir, State general secretary, Vijay Bakaya, Provincial president, Jammu, Manjit Singh, Nirmal Kotwal, Ex-MLA Faqir Nath, Arun Chibber, Ex-MLA Prem Lal, State SC coordinator, Bodh Raj Bhagat and others.
