NOWSHERA, Mar 23: Cautioning people against evil designs of ruling National Conference (NC), People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today asserted that party would strongly oppose gimmick of NC and Congress to hoodwink the people in election year.
Addressing series of public meetings at Bhatta, Khalka, Rajpura, Prati Mohalla, Qila Darhal, Dawatta and Lam areas in support of party candidate Yash Pal Sharma, State secretary of PDP Surinder Choudhary said that first time a candidate from Poonch-Rajouri is in fray for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat so it is responsibility of the residents of these two districts to ensure his victory.
He said that Yash Pal Sharma is a symbol of dedication, brotherhood and communal harmony. He said that victory of Yash Pal Sharma would usher an era of development and upliftment in the neglected twin districts of Poonch and Rajouri.
Choudhary said that NC-Congress Coalition has brazenly been indulged into deceit tactics to befool the people. He said that it was high time to expose evil designs of both these parties.
He regretted that for petty political gains, successive Governments have always tried to create division among people of different regions.
PDP secretary reminded the gathering that it was during the regime of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed that a comprehensive plan was formulated for development and growth of Rajouri district.
