NC committed to provide better infrastructure in border areas: Slathia

VIJAYPUR, Nov 19: MLA Vijaypur and senior vice-president, National Conference (NC), Surjeet Singh Slathia today said that NC is committed to create better infrastructure facilities for the people of the area especially living in border, remote and far-flung areas without any kind of discrimination.
Addressing a series of election meetings at Chak Chattaka, Chak Balotrey, Merazpur, Kulian, Kotli Matkalian, Khour Slarian, Nandpur, Ward No 6 Bari Brahmana and Teli Basti in Vijaypur constituency, Slathia asked the people to strengthen the hands of Omar Abdullah by casting their votes in favour of NC in Assembly elections as the NC is only party which watches the interest of the common people of J&K.
Slathia said that Omar led Government took elaborate policy to empower the youths of the State by eradicating red-tape and bureaucratic hurdles that the earlier system had put in their way. He further said that we have achieved in facilitating thousands of small and medium scale industrial units in the State in the last six years, which gave employment to thousands of unemployed youths.
He assured the people that this process is to continue to create more avenues for their employment and economic prosperity so that the State continues to benefit the people of J&K State.
Slathia said people must see the performance of Omar led Government for the last six years before going to the polling station. He said that many people of different political parties will come to make their claims but the people must realize the performance of the candidate on the ground while making the choice for their candidate in the Assembly election.
