JAMMU, Sept 17: Special Judge NIA, Y P Kotwal today extended the judicial remand of Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist Mohd Naved alias Usman and two others Khursheed Ahmed Bhat and Showkat Ahmed, who were involved in Udhampur attack.
After perusal of the CD files, Special Judge NIA observed, “the investigation of the case is scattered across various places of J&K and more persons are involved in conspiracy which needs to be verified”.
“Some of the co-accused are still absconding which is causing difficulties in unearthing the larger conspiracy behind the attack on BSF convoy”, the court further observed.
With these observations, court extended judicial remand of Mohammad Naved son of Mohd Yaqoob, a resident of Faisalabad Pakistan, Khursheed Ahmed Bhat, son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, a resident of Pulwama and Showkat Ahmed Bhat, son of Ali Mohd Bhat, a resident of Pulwama.
