JAMMU, Nov 11: Reacting to National Democratic Alliance’s victory in Bihar elections, J&K BJP spokesperson, Brigadier Anil Gupta (retired) said people of Bihar have rejected anti-national forces which align themselves with enemies of the nation.
He said, Bihar people have rejected malicious and fictitious campaign of opposition based on falsehood wherein it tried to divide the society.
“The mandate clearly shows the approval of the handling of COVID-19 pandemic by Modi led NDA Government,” asserted Brig Gupta.
“The opposition tried to accuse BJP of poor management of migrants during the initial lockdown but the migrants rejected this false accusation and in turn appreciated various measures taken by the Government including monthly monetary compensation and free rations and other benefits including increased rates of MNREGA under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Scheme to mitigate the impact of the pandemic,” the BJP spokesman stated in a handout.
He further said that Tejashwi Yadav deserves compliment for mobilising resources and en-cashing the anti-incumbency factor to certain extent.
“But unfortunately he is burdened with an ally which claims to be national but hobnobs with Communist Party of China and has signed a party to party MOU with it much against the national interests,” he claimed. He said that valiant Biharis have disapproved Congress and reduced its tally to just 19 out of 70, 8 short of its previous tally.
“The stellar victory of BJP is dedicated to the sweat and toil of the party workers and its leadership led by J.P Nadda, national BJP president,” Gupta said adding that people of Bihar have once again reaffirmed their profound love for PM Modi who has also complimented them stating: “Youth of Bihar have made it clear that new decade will be of Bihar and for self-reliant Bihar.”
