KATHUA, Feb 8: The employee of National Health Mission (NHM) held a protest demonstration against the State Government in support of their demands.
The employees in large number held a demonstration in front of DC Office and blocked the college road for half an hour. They raised slogans in favour of their genuine demands and sat on protest dharna in middle of the road. The protesters including Rajinder Kumar, Meenu Kumari criticized the State Government for turning a deaf ear towards demands of employees.
They said that due to NHM employees strike most of the health care institutions are not functioning and people are suffering due to the same. The Government is playing with health of poor people and not considering the demands of striking employees. They warned the Government to solve their grievances otherwise strike will continue.
