National Flag fills one with sense of security: Chrungoo

JAMMU, Apr 8: National Flag fills one with a commanding sense of security and assured sense of certainty. It creates pride in the past, confidence in the present and hope for the future, said Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, senior BJP and KP leader and in charge, Department of Political Affairs and Feedback, J&K-BJP.
He was reacting to the statement of Mehbooba Mufti, former Chief Minister of J&K, who recently said in Srinagar in a press conference that ‘the J&K administration’s directions to hoist the National Flag on all Government buildings in the Union Territory reflects a sense of insecurity as no such order has been issued anywhere else in the country’.
Mehbooba Mufti ought to know that the instructions issued by the Government of J&K in this connection are already in vogue in all other parts of the country and the other states and UTs don’t need any sort of such instructions. She has developed a typical type of ‘flag syndrome’ in her mind which reflects her priorities and concerns. As the former Chief Minister and the head of a party, she should have been happy that what she was unable to do is ultimately being done by the Government and the administration of the date in the Union Territory, Chrungoo explained.
“So far as the continous exodus from PDP is concerned, the party has since been converted into ‘People’s Departure Party’ by its leaders and workers under the superintendence of Mehbooba Mufti. Instead of blaming others on this issue, there is need of a serious introspection in the party. PDP requires to admit that the developments of August 2019 have changed the entire socio-political scenario of the UT for good, and it necessitates the party as well to change itself for good in case it wants to serve the people of the UT”, said the BJP leader.
