JAMMU, Mar 12: The results of Assembly elections in five states, which went to polls recently have clearly shown that the people are fast losing faith in Indian National Congress (INC), India’s grand old party and willingly contributing in making nation ‘Congress Mukt’.
This was stated by Balbir Ram Rattan, J&K BJP spokesperson, while commenting on downfall of Congress and steep decline in public popularity of this party. He said while Congress, which ruled the country for decades together with thumping majority, has now been facing repeated defeats with BJP emerging victorious continuously since 2014.
Balbir Ram Rattan said that gone are the days when the people could be misled on fake promises and assurances of the Congress. Today, the people, across the country, have easy access to what is happening in the country, which political party is befooling the people and who is really concerned for the people, their concerns and welfare.
Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has been seeking support of the people to achieve the mission ‘Congress Mukt Bharat’ and with each passing year, the Congress has politically suffered in every election. On the other hand, the graph of BJP in terms of electoral gains and popularity of Narendra Modi as a clean imaged strong leader has gone up manifold. It is due to the pro- people, nationalist programmes and policies of Modi-led Government at the Centre, he added.
