Former NC Minister’s son Sanjeev Bali joins BJP

JAMMU, Mar 12: Sanjeev Bali, son of one of the veteran leaders of National Conference (NC) and former Minister late Bodh Raj Bali, joined BJP in presence of J&K BJP president, Ravinder Raina and former Dy. Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta at party Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar here, today.
Ravinder Raina, while welcoming the new entrant into the party fold, said that Sanjeev Bali has the distinction of being son of the founder member of NC and politics runs in his blood. His joining the BJP reflects that the political families of Jammu region are in no mood to be part of Kashmir centric parties and want to strengthen the BJP with the objective of strengthening nationalist voice in this region. It is a welcome development, he added.
During the last few months, many stalwarts of NC, Congress and other parties have joined BJP with large number of their supporters and the day is not far when political parties except BJP will be nowhere in Jammu province.
Kavinder Gupta also welcomed Sanjeev Bali and said that joining by prominent person from civil society shows increasing popularity of BJP in the public day by day. He said that the beneficial results of this joining will be evident in upcoming Assembly elections.
Sanjeev Bali said that after retiring from Government service, he is joining BJP after being influenced by its pro-people, pro-nation and taking all on board policies. He assured to work for further strengthening the BJP and contribute in its victory in every election in future.
At another programme organised by party’s OBC Morcha, Raju Ram president Bazigar community joined BJP with his supporters. Besides, Raina, and Kavinder Gupta, All Morchas incharge, Munish Sharma and president BJP OBC Morcha, Braham Jyot Satti were present on the occasion and they welcomed the new entrants into party fold.
