Kotwal gets addl charge of IMPA

JAMMU, July 16: The Government today ordered that Umang Narulla, who had been posted as Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) in the last Cabinet meeting relieving Home Secretary B R Sharma of his additional charge, would also function as Commissioner/Secretary to Government, Incharge Election Department.
As reported, the name of Umang Narulla, Commissioner/Secretary, Forests had been cleared for the posting as the CEO by the Election Commission of India.
Dr Pawan Kotwal, Commissioner/Secretary, Transport Department will also hold additional charge of the post of Director General, Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (IMPA) in addition to his own duties relieving Sheikh Ejaz Iqbal of additional charge of DG IMPA.
Iqbal, Commissioner/ Secretary, ARI & Trainings Department has already been transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary, Forest Department vice Umang Narulla.
Shagufta Parveen, Secretary, Public Enterprises Department will hold charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, ARI and Trainings Department in addition to her own duties.
Nissar Hussain Wani, under orders of transfer as Joint Registrar, Cooperatives (Special), Kashmir will also function as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag in addition to GM Dar, Additional DC Anantnag, during the yatra period.
The Government has ordered that district/sectoral officers wouldn’t undertake any tour on Monday and Thursday to ensure that grievances/problems of general public were listened and addressed to.
