Narrow escape for family as house collapses due to rains

Bhadarwah, May 31: Family of six including 4 children had a narrow escape when their residential house collapsed due torrential rains late last night in Parnala locality.
According to reports, the residential house of Uttam Kumar, son of Ghambir Chand collapsed due to torrential rains in Parnala locality.
At the time of incident, owner of the house Uttam Kumar, son of Ghambir Chand was sleeping with his family including wife Rimpy Devi and 4 children namely Shagun (7), Samriti (6), Avantika (4) and Gourav (18 months). In the incident, wrist of his wife Rimpy Devi got fractured.
When contacted ADC Bhadarwah Rakesh Kumar said, “One injury has been reported in this incident but all the family members were safely evacuated from their house. I have constituted a team led by Tehsildar Bhadarwah, which will visit the spot and submit a detailed report of the damage”.
He assured that the family will be provided all the help from administration.
Meanwhile Vice President Bhadarwah Municipal Committee Rishi Kotwal visited the spot and demanded immediate compensation for the rehabilitation of the poor family at the earliest.
