Narinder Singh concerned over working in Govt Hospital Gandhi Ngr

JAMMU, Oct 22: Former Director Information Department Narinder Singh has expressed concern over working in Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar.
In a statement issued, Singh said that the staff posted in the X-Ray Department in the Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar is harassing the patients on one pretext or other, adding that the patients are being directed to click the pictures of their X-Ray test done without ascertaining whether the patient is having mobile phone or not.
“How a patient can be treated with the help of picture of X-Ray clicked through his/her mobile phone”, he questioned?.
The doctors in the hospital are recommending only those medicines which are available in the open market, he said, adding that the medicines which are given to patients on concession rates are not available in the store established in the Gandhi Nagar Hospital.
Singh appealed to the concerned authorities to look into the issues and redress them on priority for the benefit of the masses especially poor and down trodden people.
