JAMMU, Oct 22: Government Railway Police (GRP) has sought help from the general public to identify the dead body of a man whose identity was not ascertained.
In a statement here today SSP Railways Jammu has said that body of an unknown man, aged about 50 years, was cremated by Sewa Samiti at Gogi Gate.
The statement further said that the body was found at Parcel Gate back side of Hotel Le Roi and was shifted to GMC Jammu for post-mortem and identification but it remained unidentified.
The deceased was over 5` 6“ in height with black complexion and was wearing grey colour T-shirt and white coloured Lungi.
Railway Police has said that anybody having any clue about the deceased may contact GRP Jammu on Telephone numbers 0191-2474946, 7051265453 and PCR GRP Jammu Helpline number 1512.
