SAMBA, May 15: A narcotic smuggler has been arrested along with one kilogram of charas from vegetable market, Vijaypur.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team from Vijaypur police station intercepted a person on suspicious ground at vegetable market, Vijaypur.
During checking, police recovered one kilogram of charas and arrested the narcotic smuggler, who has been identified as Meer Alam, son of Mohammad Shah of Bathindi, Jammu.
A case under FIR number 58/14 under Section 8/20/21 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Vijaypur police station and investigation started.
