JAMMU, May 18: Showering praises on the personality and the working style of ‘Devrishi’ Narad Ji, editor weekly Panchjaniya, Hitesh Shanker described the ‘saint of saints’- Narad Ji, the best of all journalists of all the times.
Addressing the media persons during the celebration of Narad Jayanti, organized by Trikuta Samvad Kendra, J&K at Press Club here, today Mr Shanker said that the nation celebrates Narad Jayanti as the ‘Journalists Day’, adding that the saint is serving as an inspiration for the journalists of the modern era and proving to be like a beacon-light to guide and goal them not to derail from the mainstream in the present world.
Shanker further said that Narad Ji used to go to devils as also to Gods and his way of living served a message to all to believe in truth and achieve bliss and ecstasy.
The programme was presided over by Yash Basin, senior journalist, who while addressing on the occasion said that the present era is the era of media and media plays a pivotal role in building a healthy society, adding that the media persons should take inspiration from ‘ Debarshi Narad Ji’ to do their jobs efficiently and effectively, to everybody’s satisfaction.
Earlier, Dr Satyadev Gupta, president, Trikuta Samvad Kendra Jammu in his welcome address highlighted the activities of the organization, while Upendra Sharma presented vote of thanks.
