Naomie Harris wants to introduce Oprah to her mother on Oscars

LOS ANGELES, Feb 14:  Naomie Harris is nominated in the best supporting actress category of Oscars and the actress says more than herself she is excited for her mother, who is big fan of Oprah Winfrey, and there is a chance for her to make her mom meet the legendary talk show host.
The 40-year-old actress is nominated for her role in “Moonlight” and will be taking her mother along for the Academy Awards, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“I’m excited because I’m going with my mom. I know how incredibly proud she is of me and how it’s going to be so special for her to walk the red carpet and be around all these people she loves or looks up to.
“My mom is the hugest Oprah fan ever, and it’s her dream to meet Oprah. I met her a year ago at an event in London, and I was thinking about calling my mom and saying, ‘Just get in the car and get over here!’ She is so calm and collected, but I know she will lose it while meeting Oprah. I want to see that moment!,” Harris said.
Directed by  Barry Jenkinsis the movie is based on a short play “In Moonlight Black Boys Look Blue” by Tarell Alvin McCraney. (PTI)
