Reasi, May 6: Minister of State for Finance and Planning Ajay Nanda today said the huge network of PMGSY roads is being laid in State to connect several villages and small habitations.
The Minister said that huge amount is being spent to construct these roads cutting cross any type of political barriers or opposition factors.
He was speaking after starting construction work of PMGSY road from Danga to Manghai in Pouni involving estimated cost of Rs. 163.68 lakh connecting several small hamlets.
He said the State Government is playing active role in implementing welfare programmes and policies launched by the Center for overall development of the State.
Interacting with locals, Ajay Nanda said the Government is fully committed to fulfill all the promises, adding that development coming up on the ground level testifies the seriousness of the Government towards the problems and development of common man.
He also passed instructions to the executing agency to intensify the pace of roads work so that it is completed at an earliest and people of remote village get relief over getting smooth road connectivity being their long pending demand.
