REASI, Sept 5: In order to address the problems and grievances being faced by the people of Pouni area, Minister of State for Finance, Planning, IT, Law, Justice, CA&PD, Relief and Rehabilitation, Labour and Employment Ajay Nanda held a public grievance redressal camp at Pouni today.
DDC Ravinder Kumar, SSP Sujit Kumar, ACD Suram Chand Sharma, CPO H.L.Sharma, CMO Dr. LD Bhagat, CEO Vinod Kumar Soni, DPO Rajeev Khajuria, Ex-Ens PWD, PMGSY and other district and sectoral officers were present on the occasion.
A large number of people gathered on the occasion and apprised the MoS about their problems pertaining to drinking water ,electricity, road connectivity, Education etc. and demanded regular drinking water and power supply, blacktopping of various roads and Dak Bungalow at Pouni. They also putforth the demand of a ITI centre at Pouni, a Higher Secondary School at Ransoo and also apprised the MoS about the shortage of staff in various schools.
The MoS gave a patient hearing to the various demands and problems raised by the people in the camp and issued on spot directions to the concerned departments to resolve them at the earliest.
Besides, Nanda also assured them that the Government is committed to provide all the basic facilities to the people of remote and far-flung villages.
