JAMMU, Feb 22: Issuing three separate orders, Government of Jammu and Kashmir today appointed Non-Executive (N-E) Chairmen of the Board of Directors (BoDs) of Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL), Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) and J&K Power Transmission Corporation Limited (JKPTCL), besides nominating directors of the three corporations.
According to the orders, Jagmohan Sharma, Executive Director (retired), Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has been appointed as N-E Chairman on BoDs of JPDCL, Anand Mohan (retired Executive Director of PGCIL) as N-E Chairman on BoDs of KPDCL while Dr N S Saxena (retired Director General of National Power Trading Institute, Ministry of Power) has been appointed as N-E Chairman on BoDs of JKPTCL.
Sanction was also accorded to the nomination of Administrative Secretary and Director Finance, Power Development Department as Directors on the BoDs of JKPTCL, KPDCL and JPDCL.
The fresh appointments and nominations were made by the Government while partially modifying its earlier order (bearing number 191-PDD of 2019) issued on 23-10-2019.
