Mutton, poultry dealers’ plea to Govt

JAMMU, July 30: The shopkeepers dealing with Mutton and Poultry business have demanded that they be given relaxation in opening their business establishments during week end lockdown.
In a statement issued here, today these traders said that during the lockdown days these traders do the maximum business. Balbir Singh general secretary of the Jatka Mutton Shop Association and J&K Poultry Association president, Baljit Singh Manhas said that there runs more on week end days.
They said sale remains less from Monday to Friday and administration should review the decision of closing the mutton and poultry shops which have been also declared as essential commodities. They have also sought intervention of Lt Governor, G C Murmu, in this regard.
