Armament Research Development Establishment has successfully fired Pinaka M II Multi Barrel Rocket Launcher at a test fire at Chandipur testing base. This is another feather in the cap of our space research establishment. Being multi barrel it has the ability to neutralize a firing base of 3.9 miles of area. The weapon has already been delivered to the army but Pinaka II was the advanced version that passed successfully through the test. This has achievement has been made indigenously and the credit goes to India scientists. This is in line with self-sufficiency programme of the Indian defence establishment. We highly appreciate the achievement of the scientists and we are confident they will make the nation safe against all threats being posed by our detractors.
