JAMMU, Sept 15: Former Minister and PCC vice president Mula Ram today asked the Congress workers to get ready for the coming Jammu Municipal Corporation elections.
Addressing Block Congress Committee workers at Paloura under the leadership of Rajni Bala (president Block Congress Committee) here today, Mula Ram asked them to get ready for Municipal Corporation elections which shall be held any time during coming months. He also criticized for Modi Govt at the Centre and Mufti- led State Govt for failure in every field like border firing, farmers issue, 5–marla plots and permanent settlements of refugees issue and implementation of 7th Pay Commission.
Rajni Bala while addressing requested the workers to make the workers convention a grand success programme on Sept 20 at Paloura and also criticized the State Govt for standstill of all development works falling in the Block.
Hari Singh Chib, senior Congress leader also demanded for construction of double lane road of Janipur –Amb Gharota Road (Akhnoor Road) and also maintenance of damaged link road of Raipur- Domana. Surinder Singh (Block vice president Congress) expressed displeasure over disappearance of local MLA who presently was Cabinet Minister from the area. He said that the minister is not-available for Raipur –Domana people but he is available only for Kishtwar -Doda People.
Prominent among others who also addressed the workers included Renu Bala, Ajay Kumar Sharma, Rajesh Singh, Mintu, Neelam Devi, Deep Kumar, Tarsem Kumar, Bhagat Ram, Pt Bishan Dass and Swarn Singh Chib.
