MTA condemns unlawful act of JDA

JAMMU, Oct 14: Migrant Traders Association, Muthi Phase II, Jammu condemned the unlawful act of Jammu Development Authority (JDA) in which it demolished the migrant shops, in Muthi Phase II without any information given to the shopkeepers.
In a meeting held here, the Association members alleged that JDA dismantled their shops, which they were running there from last 20 years, along with accessories. This caused the innocent migrants huge loss.
Even the JDA destroyed one of the shops, for which the court had issued status-quo, the speakers maintained.
It was also informed in the meeting that the concerned Relief and Rehabilitation Head Quarter Assistant visited the spot and assured the shopkeepers to settle the issue.
It was also highlighted in the meeting that the recent Apex Committee meeting has already approved that the new shops will be constructed in the premises of TRT camps against those shops, which are running till date.
Those who attended the meeting were Ashok Kumar Dhar, Ashok Kumar Raina, JL Pandita, Tej Krishan, Kaka Ji, Raj Kumar Dhar, Jagan Nath and many others.
