MSF delegation meets Auqaf Minister

JAMMU, Dec 3: A delegation of Muslims Secular Front met Haj and Auqaf Minister Abdul Rehman Veeri and discussed the problems being faced by the Muslim community in particular and society in general.
While briefing to the Minister, president of the front, Imram Qazi said there is no general community hall in the area for the people of Jammu city and he also raised the issue of providing financial support to widows including widow pension scheme.
Sheikh Sajjad, general secretary, MSF discussed the issue of unemployed youth and allotment of shops to them to earn their livelihood and adjustment of youth according to their qualification in Auquf Islamia Department and scholarship scheme for meritorious and poor students.
Prof Shujat Khan, spokesperson raised the issue regarding widening of road of Jamia Mashid.
The Minister assured that all the necessary support will be provided at the earliest.
Other present were Rasheed Ahmed, Hanif Chowdhary, Rehmat Ali Malik, Mansoor Malik, Amjad Malik and Habib Sheikh.
