SAMBA, Oct 9: A motor cyclist was killed after his bike was hit by a speeding matador, bearing number JK02 AJ 6123 near Char Number Factory Bari Brahmana today.
He has been identified as Ramesh Lal, son of Sardari Lal of Malsha Ramgarh.
According to police Lal received grievous injuries after he was hit by the mini bus. He was taken to GMC Hospital Jammu where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle fled after the accident. The Bari Brahmana Police has registered a case against him. The body will be handed over to family after postmortem, police added.
