UDHAMPUR, Aug 16: A motorcyclist was crushed to death by a bus on the National Highway, near Tikri while a youth committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence.
Reports said that Vikram Singh (31), son of Karan Singh of village Joonu in Udhampur, was crushed to death when his Motorcycle JK14C-6024 was hit by bus JK02AC-1805, at Tikri.
Even as locals rushed the victim to hospital, doctors declared him as brought dead. Police has registered a case in this connection.
Meanwhile, 30-year-old Raghuvir Chand, son of Parshotam Chand of Lohar Madha Chenani, committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence last night. Police after completion of all the formalities and postmortem, handed over the body to family members.
