JAMMU, Aug 16: Miran Sahib police arrested two absconders, who were evading their arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Miran Sahib Police Station conducted raid and apprehended two absconder, who were at large since long.
The accused have been identified as Mohammad Aslam, son of Gudu and Kalu Mohammad, son of Bashir Ahmed, both residents of Marallian Miran Sahib.
They were involved in a case registered under FIR Number 57/17 under Section 354, 323 and 34 RPC with Police Station Miran Sahib. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC stands issued against them by the court of JMIC RS Pura, Jammu.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Ajit Singh and assisted by Incharge Police Post Kullian ASI Jugal Kishore made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Sourab Prashar, SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
